JIPYONG Labor & Employement Group Publishes “Administrative Interpretation of Major Labor Cases in 2022”

On March 10, JIPYONG Labor & Employment Group published “Administrative Interpretations of Major Labor Cases in 2022”. 
 
The booklet is a compilation of major labor cases and columns introduced by JIPYONG Labor Group through the JIPYONG Labor Newsletter over the past year, and is the fourth casebook following “2019 Major Labor Cases and Labor Columns”, “2020 Major Labor Cases”, and “2021 Major Labor Cases”. This year, we have also included major administrative interpretations in collaboration with Joongang Kyungjae . 
 
The table of contents is broadly categorized and organized into △individual labor relations, △non-regular employees (i.e., contract and temporary employees), △collective labor relations, △labor columns, and △major administrative interpretations. 
 
"It is very important for all parties involved in labor relations to systematically analyze and understand labor precedents in depth and properly approach their core," said Kim Ji-hyung in the foreword, "and we will do our best to provide the right guidance for the prevention and resolution of labor disputes." 
  
Jipyong’s Labor & Employment Group, led by Mr. Ji Hyung KIM who served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Korea, includes: Managing Partner Sung Won YOON, who previously served as a presiding judge for the labor division of Seoul High Court; Mr. Soo Saeng MOON who served as a judge for 21 years, handling various legal issues arising from labor relations; Mr. Chang Young KWON who has acquired a Ph.D. in labor law and previously served as a presiding judge; Mr. Sung Soo KIM who is the first lawyer in Korea graduated from a medical school and certified as a public labor consultant; and Mr. Young Hwan KWON who is certified as a public labor consultant and served as a law clerk at the Labor Chamber of Seoul High Court. The group provides high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients by making full use of our diverse experiences and in-depth, specialized expertise by our highly qualified attorneys.
