Election Law & Political Risk Advisory Center

Jipyong’s Election Law & Political Risk Advisory Center is a specialized task force dedicated to supporting prospective candidates, preliminary candidates, official candidates, and various stakeholders in the upcoming local elections scheduled for June 3, 2026.  Our mission is to ensure that clients are not exposed to legal liability arising from violations of the Public Official Election Act or the Political Funds Act throughout the electoral process.

During an election, countless decisions are made in rapid succession over a compressed timeframe, and every action taken may be subject to strict retrospective legal scrutiny.  Activities such as pre-announcement statements, political engagements during the preliminary candidacy stage, and the use of text messages, social media, banners, or attendance at public events may appear inconsequential at the time. However, these actions frequently become key evidence of illegality during subsequent National Election Commission (NEC) investigations or criminal proceedings.

Given these unique electoral dynamics, Jipyong’s Election Law & Political Risk Advisory Center provides an integrated approach encompassing pre-action legal assessment, post-action record management, and immediate response to emerging issues.  We provide comprehensive management of all legal disputes arising throughout the electoral process-from initial National Election Commission (NEC) inquiries through police and prosecutorial investigations to court proceedings.  Our services include filing and defending against criminal complaints or accusations of election law violations, handling election-related preliminary injunctions, and managing election invalidation lawsuits, all with a goal of minimizing unnecessary legal exposure and help secure a successful outcome.
