Seung Hwan LEE

Mr. Seung Hwan Lee is a Partner in the Finance Group. He represents clients in all facets of real estate investment and development projects, using investment vehicles including REITs and real estate funds.

Mr. Lee has devoted his legal career specifically to real estate finance since he started practice in 2007.  Leveraging his knowledge of applicable real estate finance laws and regulations with his broad understanding and experience with diverse transaction structures, he brings a multidisciplinary approach to providing optimal solutions to his clients.

Mr. Lee regularly counsels clients on real estate transactions involving traditional investment targets of REITs and real estate funds, such as office and commercial buildings, as well as real estate development projects that encompass virtually all property sectors, including offices, studio apartments, private rental apartments and warehouses.

Mr. Lee holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Seoul National University and graduated from Konkuk University Graduate School of Real Estate Studies.

He is a member of the Korean Bar.

  • Advised on sale and purchase of an array of office buildings through REITs and real estate funds, including Seoul City Tower, ING Tower, KAIT Tower, Central Place, West Gate Tower, Samsung Life Insurance Building in Yeoksam-Dong, KB Financial Tower, Limkwang Building, Jongro Tower, Bundang Square, Hite Jinro Building in Seocho district, Center Point Seocho, etc.

  • Advised on sale and purchase of numerous warehouses through REITs and real estate funds, including Evergain Logistics Center, Gimpo TJ Logistics Center, CJ Hobeop Logistics Center, GS Retail warehouse, Daesang Yongin Logistics Center, etc.
  • Advised on development projects associated with REITs and real estate funds, including Jamsil IPark, Tower 730, Heyground building, Segok-dong Posco the Sharp
  • Advised on development of a substitute land at Dongtan 2 District, Hwasung-Si through a REIT
