Ms. Joo Yeon Shin is a partner at Jipyong and head of the firm’s Ho Chi Minh City Office. After graduating from Seoul National University School of Law, Ms. Shin began her career as in-house counsel at Hanon Systems Co., Ltd. before joining Jipyong’s Ho Chi Minh City office in 2016, where she has focused on Vietnam-related matters ever since.
After completing her LL.M. at Columbia Law School, she was appointed head of the Ho Chi Minh City office in February 2026. She advises corporate clients across a wide range of industries on investment into Vietnam and the operation of their local businesses.
