Mr. Ik Beom Kim brings a rare combination of technical, valuation, and judicial perspectives to construction and real estate disputes. He studied architectural engineering before qualifying and practicing as a certified appraiser, and later served as a law clerk in both a construction-specialized civil division and an administrative division of the Daejeon High Court. This background allows him to approach construction and real estate matters from every angle, enabling him to cut through factually and legally complex disputes, structure the real issues, and deliver practical solutions.

Mr.Kim has handled a wide range of traditional civil construction matters, including disputes over construction costs , project delays, and defects. He also has substantial experience in cases where appraisal and valuation are the decisive issues, such as claims for the increase or reduction of compensation amount, sale demand actions, actions to revoke a management and disposal plan, actions to revoke disciplinary measures against certified appraisers and related criminal cases, actions to revoke development charges, disputes over real estate rent and commercial lease premiums, actions to revoke a publicly-announced individual land price, and actions for partition of co-owned property. He regularly advises clients on disputes arising from urban redevelopment, housing construction, and land development projects, aligning litigation strategy with the underlying structure of the project itself.

Alongside general civil and administrative litigation, Mr. Kim has extensive experience with matters shaped by shifting policy and regulation, including the rescission and cancellation of sale contracts and revocation of corrective orders under the Act on Sale of Building Units, disputes over housing price ceilings, and disputes concerning energy storage systems (ESS).
