Yong Chae SEOMUN

Mr. Yong Chae Seomun is a Senior Advisor in the Finance Group.  Mr. Seomun served 30 years with the financial regulators of Korea, starting with the Bank Supervisory Service at the Bank of Korea, which was later integrated into the Financial Supervisory Service.  He has extensive experience and expertise in the areas of inspection and sanctions gleaned from his years of service with the regulators.  He was particularly responsible for the supervisory issues related to credit management, restructuring and credit information management of large corporations. 

Mr. Seomun also served as a standing member of an auditing committee at KB Kookmin Card for 3 years from March 2011, which broadened his understanding of the financial market and offered him the opportunity to get directly involved with internal compliance at a private financial institution.
