Mr. Doyoung Song concentrates his practice in advisory, litigation, and consulting services concerning personal information protection, trade secrets, and regulatory sandboxes. while more recently extending his practice to strategic advisory and litigation across the ICT and emerging industry sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Metaverse (AR/VR/XR), Mobility, and Robotics.

Drawing on his experience at the National Assembly, Mr. Song is actively engaged in the legislative field, including the enactment of the AI Basic Act, the Virtual Convergence Industry Promotion Act (the “Metaverse Act”), and the Enactment of the AI Data Center Act, and the Comprehensive Revision of the Intelligent Robots Development and Distribution Promotion Act.

Recognized for having the most extensive experience in Korea for reviewing regulatory sandbox cases across ICT, industrial convergence, smart city, and mobility sectors since their implementation in 2019, Mr. Song remains highly active in the field of financial innovation as a private sector member of the Innovative Financial Review Committee of the Financial Services Commission.
