Jipyong Jisung's pioneering spirit is evidence as we became the first Korean law firm to set up presence in Myanmar.  Our affiliate office is incorporated in Myanmar and is named "JIPYONG JISUNG MYANMAR."

JIPYONG JISUNG MYANMAR is comprised of 10 members, including 3 Korean professionals (attorneys and consultants) and 7 Myanmar professionals (attorneys, accountants, consultants), to provide the best possible legal and related services to Korean and foreign clients in all matters regarding Myanmar.  

Jipyong Jisung has provided legal advice in Myanmar since 2012, and now handles more 50 Myanmar-related matters for Korean and Japanese companies.

The system of laws in Myanmar is still in development, and new legislations are continuing to be introduced.  At the same time, the legal processes in place are not definite, and there are few legal professionals with relevant experience and know-how in guiding foreign investors through the legal, cultural waters in Myanmar.  So it is of utmost importance that foreign investors find the right legal advisor in helping their efforts to do business in Myanmar.
