Experience in Designing the Project REITs Framework
From December 2023 to August 2024, Jipyong conducted the “Research Service for the Reform Plan for the Underlying System of the Real Estate Investment Company Act,” commissioned by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. During this project, Jipyong proposed the introduction of Project REITs and drafted a new provision (Article 26-4 of the amended Real Estate Investment Company Act) to facilitate their implementation, working closely with relevant government officials. This experience has given Jipyong unique expertise in understanding the background and objectives of Project REITs, interpreting the relevant legal provisions, and developing practical strategies for their application.

As a newly introduced investment vehicle, Project REITs allow real estate development projects to be carried out through an incorporation registration process under the Real Estate Investment Company Act.
