JIPYONG has announced that Attorneys Byoung Moon CHOI, Ho San LIM, Byung Hee KIM, and Han Gil LEE joined JIPYONG. With those attorneys, the firm will be able to enhance its expertise in the insurance field. 
 
The 4 attorneys including Attorney Byoung Moon CHOI are specialized in insurance. They have been recognized as attorneys who provide expert knowledge, high performance, and trustworthy services in the field of insurance. They advised and represented clients in connection with insurance and finance and related disputes, review of terms and conditions of insurance policies, and matters related to financial regulation and supervision. 
 
In particular, Attorney Byoung Moon Choi, who was the head of financial litigation team of HMP Law for the past 20 years, has been dedicated to insurance and financial regulation. He counsels the Financial Supervisory Services (FSS) with respect to its various sanctions and regulations as a legal counsel of the Financial Services Commission, Member of TF for Innovation of HR and Organizational Culture, Advisor (specialized in Insurance) of the FSS Supervision Advisory Committee, Member (specialized in Insurance) of the Dispute Settlement Committee, etc. 
 
In addition, he represented numerous financial institutions in a dispute in connection with the repurchase of beneficiary certificates including Daewoo bonds, a claim for fixed dividends against Samsung Life Insurance, a claim for the return of unfair profits and damages against commercial banks from a group of yen lenders, and LIG Construction’s CP investment, etc.
